The Curtain Rises Again – &Mie at KreaDoe Lentefestival 2026
Act One | Last Year

It started with a water bottle and a blank canvas.
Last year, Kor Water arrived at KreaDoe Lentefestival with a booth, a vision, and a woman named Annemie Fourie who refused to let a single visitor leave without feeling like an artist. The queues stretched. The Posca Markers flew. Hundreds of Kor ONE bottles left the festival transformed to tell a story, covered in florals, abstracts, finger-painted tulips and quiet personal pieces that meant everything to the person who made them.
It was supposed to be a brand activation. It became something much bigger. Under Annemie's leadership, the booth did not just sell bottles. It sparked something. A community. A creative movement. A feeling that creativity is not reserved for artists, it belongs to everyone who picks up a marker and decides to try.
And when the final bottle was sealed and the glitter was swept away, one thing was clear. The show was not over. It had barely begun.
Act Two | The Return

This year, the blank canvas bottles came back to KreaDoe. This time, on a brand new stage.
&Mie. A platform where great brands meet bold makers. Same leadership, Annemie Fourie, still very much at the helm, but a bigger vision, a bolder name and a whole new chapter waiting to be written.
From the moment the doors opened on Friday morning, the energy was electric. Familiar faces from last year walked back in, some with photos of their bottles on their phones, some with their finished creations already in their bags, some simply ready for round two. And round two? It hit different.
New makers sat down for the first time, markers in hand, and left with something they made entirely themselves. Seasoned creators pushed further, layered deeper, stayed longer. Shannen from @sgicreations brought her own creative force to the stand. Brenda Bakker's finger-painted tulips became exclusive prints worn on bottles across the festival floor.

Something unexpected kept happening at our stand this weekend. And once we noticed it, we could not stop seeing it. Grandmothers leaning over to help grandchildren choose their colours. Dads sitting side by side with daughters, both completely absorbed in their own designs. Mothers and teenagers sharing markers without a word, connected by something that needed no explanation.
Three generations around the same table. Creating together. Laughing together. Making something with their hands that they would carry home and keep. This is what we did not plan for and what moved us the most. &Mie is not just about connecting great brands with bold makers. It is about connecting people to each other. Giving them a reason to sit down together, slow down, and create something that is theirs. A shared memory sealed in resin and worn every single day. A product can be beautiful. But a moment between a grandmother and her grandchild, both concentrating on the same canvas? That is something else entirely. That is what &Mie is really about. And that is something no brief or business plan ever could have predicted.
Three days. Hundreds of bottles. Every single one uniquely, unmistakably, irreplaceably its maker's.
The reviews came in before the doors even closed. Heartfelt messages. Tagged creations. Stories of people who had never picked up a marker in their life and left feeling like artists. That is the &Mie effect. And it is just getting started.
Act Three | What Comes Next

Every great show needs a home stage.
And right now, that stage is being built.
The keys to Denneweg 19 in Den Haag are in our hands and the work has already begun. Floors are being ripped out. Walls are coming down. Shelves are going up. The space that will become the &Mie home is being torn apart and put back together with intention, creativity and a very clear vision of what it is going to become.
It is loud. It is dusty. It is exactly as exciting as it sounds.
Denneweg 19, 2514 CC, Den Haag sits on one of The Hague's most beautiful and characterful streets. A street that has long been home to independent food spots, fashion boutiques, beauty finds and lifestyle treasures – a place where art and culture are not an afterthought but part of the very fabric of the neighbourhood. In the heart of a city that knows a thing or two about creativity, community and living well. And soon it will be home to something the city has not seen before.
The idea is simple and the vision is clear. &Mie exists to connect makers, creatives and side-hustlers with premium branded products, the kind of products that deserve to be held, personalised and carried into the world by people who know exactly what to do with them. Great brands deserve a second act. Makers deserve access to a great canvas. &Mie is the place where those two things meet.
A physical space. A creative community. A revolving stage where brands, artists and makers perform, inspire and reimagine together.
The curtain is rising on something new.
